Frequently asked questions
Can I use the designer without paying?
Yes — the canvas is free for everyone. Upload artwork, design, see a watermarked preview. You only need a paid credit when you download a print-ready file or use AI generation.
Do I need a subscription, or can I pay once?
Both options. $5 buys one design download (no AI). $10 gets you one design plus 3 AI generations to try out the AI feature. Subscriptions are for people who'll print more than a few boards.
Do subscribers see ads?
No. Active subscribers see the site ad-free while signed in — Google AdSense and any other ad placements are hidden for paying members.
Are purchased designs kept forever?
Yes. Once you've purchased a design (paid the design credit to download), it's stored against your account permanently and can be re-downloaded at no extra cost. Designs that haven't been purchased are saved for 72 hours before deletion.
Can I keep editing a design after I've purchased it?
Purchased designs become final — they're flattened so the print file can't be tampered with. You can still use any purchased design as a template for a new design (we keep the original safe). Saving the new derivative costs 1 design credit.
What counts as one 'design'?
One print-ready file downloaded. Editing the canvas as many times as you want is free — only purchasing (downloading) spends a design credit. AI is metered separately: each AI generation costs 1 AI credit whether you save the result or not (this keeps things fair — you can't burn 50 AI calls trying variations of one board for a single credit).
What's a 'template'?
Any of your purchased designs can be duplicated as a starting point for a new design. Great for wedding monograms, team-branded sets where only the player name changes, or seasonal variants of a base layout. The original stays safe; the new derivative is its own design and costs 1 design credit when you save it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month via PayPal. Cancel from your account; access continues to the end of your billing period.
